WABO roots for change

As part of its efforts to raise its profile, the Writers Association of Botswana (WABO) has elected a new executive committee.

The committee is expected to redeem WABO's image with a view to becoming an internationally recognised association.

The new Executive committee comprises Barolong Seboni, who retained his position as chairman, Lauri Kubuitsile (new deputy), Ben Mogotsi (secretary general) with Bakalanga Mafoko as his deputy. Edmaund Dladla was elected projects manager unopposed while Phenyo 'Phega' Gaotlhobogwe is the new publicity secretary. Lex Von Rudloff and Goodwill Tlokwe were named additional members.
