Thuli's former dancer switches to gospel

One of Thuli's former dancers Thato Dikhading has ditched Afro-pop for gospel music. The youngster was supposed to have released her debut Afro-pop album in 2007, but after a deal gone sour with her sponsors she decided to ditch it.

Now Dikhading, who hails from Majaalela in the Southern District, is adamant God has finally decided her fate.

"It was my calling, I have always loved gospel music even when I was dancing for Thuli. I think it was just a mistake that I recorded that failed Afro-pop album. Maybe I was just filling a void in my life or I was desperate to have my own CD, but truly speaking gospel is what I have always wanted to do," she said.
