When Showbiz visits the home of Daniel Dikgang, a self-taught architect from Maradung ward in Thamaga, the dread-locked middle-aged artist is at first reluctant to grant an interview since he is busy preparing quotations for a client who is coming to collect them soon.

The walls of the architect's home are adorned with beautiful house-plans and the blue, black and white Botswana flags fly all over the place.

The artist confidently declares that he is a patriot who has contributed much towards nation building and that is why he is proudly displaying the flags.
