Thapong Artist of the Year awards postponed

The annual Thapong Artist of the Year awards have been postponed to September 12, according to the coordinator of the centre, Reginald Bakwena. Bakwena said they had to postpone the awards so they could work on the catalogue, which is sponsored by Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.

Bakwena further said that the awards this year attracted 145 submissions from 68 artists. The entries include three installations, which are rarely featured in the competition.
