Street Gang fortunes take a dive with Tla o bone

Kwaito-kwasa outfit Street Gang have had mixed fortunes in music. Their debut album Reaiketsetsa might have not been such a big hit, but it was good enough to catapult them to the top of the music charts.

The second one Sukunyetsa Bana Ba Utlwe was a big hit by local standards echoing in almost every street corner even months after its release. Who would have thought ECCO City Greens' Zimbabwean striker would end up with the nick name 'Sukunyetsa'. The track was as hot as the song was two years ago.

As the album Sukunyetsa made the group one of the country's finest finds this decade, expectations were also rising. Many believed Street Gang were destined for major success.
