Sticks gives dikhwaere new dimension

Dikhwaere is the type of music that has been sung in Botswana at various social gatherings for many decades, but made popular by Bakgatla tribe.

Many of us used to wait for Radio Botswana's popular programme Dipina tsa Dikhwaere to get the recorded version of this music.

It was through this programme that most of us, especially the young generation, got to know about the giants like Seshoboloko from Mochudi as well as Rangers from Artesia.
