Stage set for Maun comedy and poetry festival

It is the second year running that poetry and comedy talents in Botswana are being cultivated and given exposure through President Ian Khama's initiative which was started last year.

The effort has resulted in the establishment of the country's association for comedians, which has a constitution and receives funding from the Department of Culture. It is through this association that poetry and comedy shows are being held all over the country ahead of next month's national finals.
