Stage set for Autumn Music Festival

It's all systems go for the Gabs Autumn Music Festival at the Fairgrounds on Saturday, featuring top jazz musicians from the SADC region.

Festival organiser John Selolwane said yesterday that preparations are at an advanced stage and all the invited artistes have confirmed their participation. Selolwane, who is also a renowned musician, said they are finalising a few logistics. The festival, which is presented by J&J Promotions, is scheduled to start at around 12 hours and end the next morning. Selolwane assured that security will be tight. 

Local artistes on the bill are: Maxy, Shanti-Lo, Ndingo Johwa, Matsieng, Selolwane, Lister Boleseng, and Punah Gabasiane. Zimbabwe will be represented by Oliver Mtukudzi.  Mtukudzi, who is popular for his Tuku music, has released numerous albums and needs little introduction.
