Sparkling Night At Vision 2016 Awards

The organisers of the 2009 National Vision 2016 Awards pulled out all the stops to put together a breathtaking show at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) last Friday night. It was simply glittering - and made for television.

The  awards ceremony took place  in a studio, specifically designed for television broadcast on the evening. Giant  tongues of fire would time and again emerge on the wonderfully designed giant stage  as part of the stage lighting.

The tongues of fires at first seemed like an accident gone wrong as their blistering heat was felt even by the audience. When  the fires were ignited  twice  and thrice,  people started appreciating the  unique lighting effects, knowing that the effects were not accidental, just deliberate elements of decor.
