Tshepiso Mongale was the first princess and Aggrieneth Masule second princess. The people tasked with identifying the beauty queen were gospel artist and promoter Joel Keitumele, founding Youth Parliament president Kagiso Ntime, and Radio Botswana (RB) presenter Henry Letshwiti.

The event was well attended, though it was raining in the evening. YOLI chairperson Molatedi Kgotla told Showbiz that the event was very successful even though it was raining.
