After winning a travel fellowship from his former college for a year, award-winning Motswana actor, Donald Molosi, is set to take the story of the first President of Botswana, Sir Seretse Khama to audiences in Europe and some parts of Africa.

Seretse, Blue, Black and White,  tells the story of Seretse including his controversial marriage to Ruth Williams in 1948 that caused a storm and divided the Ngwato kingdom.

"In Seretse Khama: Blue, Black and White, we see one of his first conversations with Bangwato elders upon his return to Botswana after being exiled. We see how he used his rhetoric and commanding presence to sway morafe votes in favour of his marriage. This takes place in Serowe in 1949. Seretse and his lawyer are attending a kgotla meeting where Seretse's uncle (Tshekedi Khama) is in attendance to hear Seretse's jurisdiction of his having married without consulting the royal family of the Bangwato first since Seretse is of the Bangwato royal family," Molosi says.
