Revellers throng Tebelopele Youth Life Fair

Scores of youth thronged Gaborone's Fairgrounds to celebrate the Youth Life Fair organised by Tebelopele last Saturday.

According to Thandie Valentine, Tebelopele Marketing Manager, the campaign has been a success so far because they have managed to reach a good number of young people.
"Although we had no sponsor for the programme, we have been able to reach a lot of young people and deliver the message of positive living," she said.
Even though the Saturday event was low key, Valentine said that did not dampen Tebelopele's spirit to reach out to the youth.

"We cannot measure the whole campaign by one isolated event,' she said.
She revealed that last month's Life Fest covered schools like Rainbow Secondary School where they reached 600 students; Gaborone Secondary School where they reached 1,250, Linchwe CJSS (Mochudi) where they reached 1,150 students; Molepolole Community Hall where they reached 300 students and Kagiso Secondary in Ramotswa where they reached 1,600 students. There was also a youth fair in Maun, where well over 4500 youth attended.
