Cultural music icon, Shumba Ratshega, real name Moses Malapela, says he has relocated to Pretoria, South Africa, where his albums are in higher demand.

Shumba told Showbiz  that since the FIFA Confederations Cup last July, he and his new set of dancers have been living in Pretoria. Shumba has been deserted by his original dancers, who formed a new troupe and released a debut album in August , but the Bobonong performer says he wasted no time and recruited six new dancers he now lives with in Pretoria. "We do not have problems there, we are able to pay rent and survive through shows, and music sales," Shumba added.

"We have many shows there. In fact as I speak I am scheduled to perform at a Cultural day in Mafikeng, which is hosted by Motsweding fm. I have been staging shows in South Africa, lately some featuring Franco Lesokwane. I performed once before a Confederation's Cup game in a stadium, as well as twice during the Confederations Cup themed nights," Shumba added.
