Orakle Set For Major Comeback

One of the finest Masters of Ceremonies (MC) to brace the local hip-hop scene Orakle, real name (Kabo Lokwalo) is set to make a major comeback with the release of his second album next month.

The new album is entitled Gemini. Orakle said it will be a must have for local hip-hop fans. The soft-spoken rapper said the new album contains some rich material and was mastered by some of the best producers in the industry. He said he would decide to settle for 17 to 18 tracks for the new album after selecting the best from many songs he recorded during his six-year absence from the music scene. Eight producers have worked on the album, some from South Africa. They include locals Gofaone 'Goof' Mapitse and Presley 'Prez Beats' Metshe of the 'EARTH' fame who produced some of the songs in Oracle's previous offering, Sex. Local artistes featured in the album include ikalanga rapper Concrete. Thameka Walker from the US and other international artists also feature in the album.

A single from the album What U Want is already blazing the airwaves in local radio stations since last week. Two more singles will be released ahead of the full-length album. Orakle said the new album will be much better than his 2003 release - Sex. Orakle said he has not been able to release any new material in the past six years because of unfulfilled promises from some producers. He is releasing his album with the help of friends. "In the past I made some arrangements with people who failed me," said Orakle.
