NIIT to launch Botswana Books Collection

As Mmegi correctly predicted last year, the tide is turning for local authors and NIIT Botswana, one of the educational institutions in this country, is the latest to jump onto the bandwagon of those that seek to empower the literary arts with their new initiative, Botswana Books Collection.

In an interview with Showbiz,  NIIT librarian, Katanego Nkoko, said the Botswana Books Collection, which will be launched this Thursday at the Botho Campus Park, is 'a collection of books by prominent local authors and about Botswana', and the theme of the event is cultural awareness, which is one of the pillars of the NIIT Intended Graduate Profile (IGP).

"With Botswana Books Collection, we aim to revive and appreciate the local culture and tradition among students, we also want to cultivate a reading culture among them.
