Mogae wants Palapye museum in place

Speaking during the occasion to view the late traditional music legend Ratsie Setlhako's tombstone, Mogae said with a museum, the village's history and culture would be preserved for posterity. He said the museum would not only preserve his but also the legacy of the youth and other local people who have contributed to the development of the village.
Mogae mentioned that besides Ratsie Setlhako, other people who deserve a place in the envisaged museum include the late Kgalemang Motsete, who once stayed in Palapye and is widely recognised as the founder of Botswana's first political party, the Botswana Peoples Party (BPP) national anthem and his ability to start Tati Institute.
