Miss Teen Africa pageant put off

The finals of the Miss Teen Africa beauty pageant in which the teenage queen has been promised a whopping P100,000 have been postponed.

They were supposed to be held on October 4. Miss Teen Africa is associated with Zimbabwean promoter Ignatius Musemburi whom some people have accused of allegedly swindling them in the past.

The co-ordinator of the event, Miti Mhalangayebe, confirmed that they have postponed the finals to next month on a date yet to be set. "We will have to finalise everything," he said.  Mhalangayebe  would not say why the contest has been postponed. All he said was that they own their newspaper in which they publish issues about the competition.
