Miss Farmers: Where did youthful show-goers go?

There were no youths in sight as elderly women in blankets to ward off the morning chill, characterised the opening day of the Lentsweletau Agriculture Show over the weekend.

To make matters worse, the showground itself was virtually empty, with government departments' tents as the only visible structures.
