Melita Exits Pop Star Botswana With Mascom Freebies

The number of the inaugural Botswana Television (Btv) Pop Star Botswana contestants dropped to 11 on Friday when Melita Seabelo was eliminated.

Seabelo lost to male contestant, Smarh, in a song contest after both received the least votes last week.

The third contestant saved by the bell was Thandie. Interestingly, Smarh was receiving the least nomination for the second time in a row. For Melita it was not all doom and gloom, as she became the first contestant to receive freebies from show sponsors, Mascom. She walked away with P600 cash, a cell phone,  water bottle, jar, cap, and a bag. Immediately after it was announced that she was going home, Melita revealed that her music album would soon be out and urged the public to support her by buying it.
