Matona a Koma, growing in stature and spirit

Their entry into the music industry opened a completly new chapter. Their mixing of different styles from Afro-pop, gospel, jazz and dikhwaere might have been seen as a sign that the group was still unsure of its identity, but Matona a Koma have proven their versatility and creativity beyond any shadow of doubt. They are fun loving and this is shown by their dance moves on stage.

Their dress code when on stage make them look like those lowly paid security guards, but that is the image they are proud of and one that they do not plan ditching any time soon because it was those same "men in uniform" who inspired them to start a band.

They have watched in anger and despair as security guards were called all sorts of names and often scolded by both customers and their employers and it has always been their motive to highlight the plight of these often hard working, yet under fellows.
