Manake enters comedy scene with a bang!

You had been used to hearing of one name in the local stand-up comedy business, well the number is gradually growing. Besides Dignash or Michael Morapedi, Master Manake is the latest addition to Botswana's entertainment scene.

Last Thursday, the man, who works for the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC), made his debut as a stand-up comedian at the Little Theatre, National Museum and Art Gallery, and the few spectators who turned up for the show roared in laughter, as Manake's unique jokes tickled them.

 
He looked professional despite his show starting late. He was accompanied by his own film crew, and if things work according to his ambitious plan, Manake might soon start appearing on national television to beef up family entertainment.
