The M-Net reality music talent search Idols, has selected its top 10 following performances of the last group on Sunday.

The last group performances produced two more contestants, through public voting, to join the six who had already qualified. The two, who got into the top 10 through public selection, announced Monday night, are 23-year-old Christine Adda from Kenya and 20-year-old Samantha Tirivacho from Zimbabwe. The pair gave good performances on Sunday night with Christine singing Aerosmith's I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, and Samantha doing one of Tina Turner's greatest hits, Simply the Best.

Samantha sung the song so well that someone not watching the show might have thought it was Tina Turner herself doing the song. One of the judges - the only female judge Angela - noted that if she had closed her eyes, she would have sworn that Tina Turner was back on stage.
