Local Girls Dish Out Reggae

A new local group, a two-girl band called Dance Hall Queens on Friday unveiled their dance hall flavour and warmed the night at Satchmos with some hot hip- banging dances.

The group, compromising Nakita, Nunu Mohlomi and Lesego Motoane, hope to have their debut album out in a few weeks' time. They feature  two reggae rappers, Ekzylaka Degge Degge, real name Petrus Ntenna, and Fishman (Rotlhe Tshwaane).

The girls demonstrated their commitment to reggae roots with their rasta hair styles, yellow tops, as well as jeans decorated with the traditional red, yellow, and green reggae colours.
