He is the man who revolutionised traditional dikhwaere and opened other people's eyes that there was a lot of money to be made from this old type of music. Kgangwanani Mogocha, who is popularly known as Vomit or Dr Vom by many music lovers, has changed perceptions in the process of turning dikhwaere around.

Now the fellow, who broke onto the music scene with that Afro pop hit Matshidiso a decade ago, believes he deserves national honours for having 'taken dikhwaere to  the top'.

In his new album, Ke Tswhwana Le Moshe, Vomit insists that he is the one who introduced contemporary dikhwaere and for that his head deserves to be engraved on the P5 coin to replace the Mophane worm.
