Jwaneng-based gospel singer Tlamelo "Ebenezer" Ramaiyane claims that a local recording company has ripped her off.

She said last year she applied for a P23, 000 grant from the Department of Culture and Youth to record an album.  She said after the grant was approved, the company, 69 Production, went ahead and claimed the money even before they could finished the job.

Ramainyane said, among other things, the company was supposed to cut a CD and duplicate copies for her.  She said they were also supposed to produce cassettes and shoot videos of the album.
