Franco, his fans and alcohol

He has released the song Tipi ya mokwatla in condemnation of some home brews, which pose a health risk to many people turning them into 'elders' at a tender age.

But  the Kwasa-kwasa musician was not only making that song to make money, he is hoping that people will change their drinking habits.

Although he does not necessarily agree with President Ian Khama's stance (70 percent levy increase), Franco believes that the manner in which people abuse alcohol calls for tough measures to address the situation."I hate the fact that some people even drink while on duty. I have never tasted beer in my life and I have always believed that it was no problem if someone did not go beyond the limit, but the way people are doing it you would understand why the president is trying to do this," he told Showbiz on Saturday.
