Father and son affair at Lizard Lounge

It will be a father and son affair at the Lizard Lounge this Friday when son, Eugene Jackson, launches his sensational afro pop debut album, featuring his dad, Clement, a colossal figure in local music circles.

Jackson Snr is one of the pioneers of local music having dedicated his life to playing in hotels and pubs in Gaborone for decades. His band will provid live backing at the Friday night event, which coincides with the announcement that the son has been nominated for two awards for this year's BOMU music awards.

Eugene's album, Life & Times in Music has been enjoying massive airplay on local radio stations since its release a few months ago, with its first two singles, Phantsha and Ke Wa Gago, both having featured in Mascom Yarona FM's Top 20, RB2's Top 40, and Duma FM's top 40.
