DJ Bunz, KBL tug-of-war rages on

FRANCISTOWN: Popular Francistown Disc Jockey (DJ) Peter Malefho Gaetsewe aka DJ Bunz's case for unlawful dismissal by Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) has been rescheduled again for exceptional trial on August 27.

This was after the two parties had attended a Case Management Conference (CMC) at Justice Modiri Letsididi's chambers yesterday. Gaetsewe is demanding P390, 000 for unlawful dismissal.

The DJ says the exceptional trial was raised by KBL laywers during the CMC. In his court papers, Gaetsewe avers that he was employed as a 'gig operator' and was placed on probation, which was to lapse on November 30, 2004. On December 1, 2004, he was involved in an accident whilst on duty. After the accident, his right arm was amputated.
