Dalom Kids reign supreme at Lions Park

They are not kids anymore and this shows in the way they conduct themselves on stage, the maturity in their music and dance moves bear testimony to their experience, but Dalom Kids remain cheeky and energetic as ever.

The multi-platinum selling South African disco outfit were the centre of attraction on Saturday at the Lions Park where the Dalom Music family kicked off their national tour. Not even their mentor Dan Tshanda was able to create the same hype that the ladies had raised when they took stage.

Peacock opened the show sending the fans into a frenzy with hits such as Sis Mavundle, Akhekho and Dumazile. Next on stage was Dalom stable's new kid, golden voiced Sabelo with his Afro-pop melodies but the fans had "strictly" come for disco music and he was told off as soon as his first song started playing. However, he is one of the gems recently discovered by Tshanda and given time he would give the likes of Ntando a good run for their money.
