One of the oldest Kwaito groups in the country, Da Vet Crew is turning 10 years old in style this year. The crew which was founded in 1995 originated from White City in Gaborone.

The group initially had 40 members but some of them lost interest, leaving only five members, group leader Otsile "Oats" Ramorwa, Moemedi "Max" Madisa, Chris Lokwae, Letso Mafoko, and Shimboy Tshesebe.

The group has over the years released five albums: S'xengethe, Sananapo, Mathaithai, Gaxebe and the current release, simply entitled 10. To gain experience, the lads say they worked with reputable producers like Mojalefa Thebe, Thapelo Khomo, David Molosi and Gavin Bantom in their previous album releases.
