Chedza Axed From Pop Stars

As the local talent search show Pop Stars Botswana is set to reach its climax, the axe has begun to fall on some of the unlucky hopefuls.

Last Friday, supporters, families and friends of wannabe music idols filled the Botswana Television  (Btv) Auditorium to capacity and witnessed three girls - Chedza Pansiri, Mirriam Robanyane and Mmapula Rakgole- battling it out to survive the dreaded axe. The lucky Robanyane was automatically saved and Rakgole and Pansiri were left in the battle for survival.

Rakgole managed to redeem herself by performing Leona Lewis' popular hit song Bleeding Love. The visibly 'limping Pansiri' did a rendition of Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come but the judges were not impressed and offered to save Rakgole instead.
