CD packed with words of love, words of wisdom

The Botswana music industry is replete with stories of successful groups falling apart, whilst others just simply wean off from their founders in a quest to be independent.

Whether this occurrence is guided by an ambition to grow or just pure greed and the desire to make a quick buck is a mater of conjecture. Dikakapa lead singer Gongmaster broke away from the group to go solo. His cousin Ditiro Leero followed suit when he ditched the successful Matsieng traditional group to go solo too. And towards the last festive season, Shumba Ratshega lost some members of his group who quit. They assumed the name Pitsa Ya Seto and recorded their debut Changaneng (Kgang e teng).

The group consists of seven members - Gaboinewe CA Sifo, Neo Kolobe, Lesedi Mosalagae, Mompati Moloi, Keineetse Tshepo, Kebafentse Kebabope and Tshepo Dikgang.
