Cash shortage could delay Bathoen statue

The statue of Kgosi Bathoen II of Bangwaketse has a second and final inspection by the committee that has been set up to put the project in motion as well as Kgosi Seepapitso IV.

The clay mould is now ready to go for the next stage before it is ferried to South Africa for the final bronze stage.

Seepapitso and the committee approved it though the Bangwaketse leader advised that the rose on his jacket pocket be removed. The first inspection took place last month when Seepapitso recommended a few changes to the mould.
