Capetonians bring tattooing, body-piercing art to Gabs

The young woman was having problems with her neck scarf, as parishioners sitting behind her constantly shifted their attention to something on her back, which I later discover to be the tattoo of a butterfly.

I wondered if she had the chance to concentrate on what the pastor was preaching about - the "virtues of being among winning winners".

On January 11, as I was on my way to Gaborone Main Mall at the robots located at the inter-section of Old Lobatse Road and Station Road, I saw a tattoo of a feathered dragon running down the neck of a young white man driving a Toyota pick-up truck. The music was being played so loudly, as he nodded to the beat, that he did not even notice my shocked look.
