BOMU draws up three-year master plan

The leadership of the Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) drew up a three-year strategic plan during a weekend retreat held in Molepolole.

 BOMU publicity secretary Joel Keitumele said one of the far-reaching resolutions they came up with, was that members of the executive committee should not contest BOMU music awards. 

He said this is meant to avoid a conflict of interest. Keitumele regards this decision as a welcome move because in the past, BOMU executive committee members used to contest the awards.
