BDP ropes in Setlhomo to boost its electoral fortunes

The relationship between the artist and politician in Botswana is blossoming. Last weekend Deben Natale, who sings folklore music, was at the launch of a political candidate.

In an interesting turn of events, the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has contracted self-styled gospel queen Tebbie Setlhomo to compose songs about the party.
