Batshegi's voice his best asset

Emmanuel Batshegi might be nippy and slender but he possesses a lion's roar; when listening to his music it is hard to believe that such a small 'boy' could sing with such a deep voice.

The Moshupa-born 24-year-old is among the new breed of gospel musicians who are into the Zion type of gospel.

Like many 'new ones' he is still learning the ropes; from writing songs, playing keyboards and editing, hence his debut album titled 'Re tla go lebogang kang' lacks in terms of instrumentation, which could have complimented his natural voice very well.
