Artiste releases 'best' gospel album

MOLEPOLOLE: Kabelo Eric Kgaodi is surely on a mission to promote the Kingdom of the Lord through his soulful and preaching gospel music.

The Sikwane-born, third year University of Botswana (UB) student has a rich background of gospel music from childhood. "I listened to Phempheretlhe, Joel, South Africa's Lundi Tymara, Rebecca Malope and other gospel artistes. They all influenced my music particularly our own Joel Rebaone Keitumele, " said the soft-spoken Kgaodi who prefers to be called Kabelo Eric.

The self-proclaimed born-again Christian is an active member of Mission to the World Ministries who plans to live an exemplary life guided and mentored by God only and not fame. Quizzed about his debut album titled "Jutase wa Mosekariota", his eyes sparkle in excitement and his face beams in confidence.
