All systems are go for art and dance talent shows

It is almost all systems go for local art and dance talent, as the nation braces for the forthcoming national finals in Gaborone on President Day.

New in the traditional song and dance category this year are three dances from Kweneng, Bobirwa, and Kasane region.  Phathisi, a Kwena traditional dance, and Sebirwa dance, found East of Selebi-Phikwe, and Seperu, a Wayei dance, have been featured for the second Presidential National festivals and competitions.

Last year,  three categories were contested for; Hosanna, a Kalanga dance, Tsutsube, a San-inspired dance, and Setapa, also  from Kweneng and Ngwaketse regions.
