'African touch' at the Shebeen

The interior has been decorated with masks all over, giving it an African touch. You might even feel that you are attending an art exhibition in an art gallery when you are inside the club. Owner Steve Raman said he has been collecting the exquisite masks over the years.
The new nightclub, which is to provide live music by different musicians, was launched last week to the sounds of Clement Jackson. Jackson is one of the country's veteran musicians, having played for Kgwanyape band with the late Duncan Senyatso. Kgwanyape was a top local group in the 90s. It was one of the first local groups to release an album entitled Mephato ya maloba.
