24-hours inside BBAIII house revealing

It's Thursday morning, a group of 10 journalists from 10 of the participating countries are about to enter the Big Brother Africa 3 house to get the feel before the actual 12 housemates could enter the house.

The mood is confusing, the look on the 24-hour media housemates' faces is not revealing whether the opportunity is appreciated or not. Looking around, it was quite plain that a number of journalists were worried about entering the house, which has cameras on every corner, yours truly included. At some point, one of the M-Net employees quipped:  "Maureen you look worried, are you worried about entering the house?"

To everyone's relief she explains almost immediately that no one was compelled to go in and also offered some comfort by telling the group that should anyone want to leave the house before the stipulated 24 hours, Big Brother should be alerted so he could call her to come and take the person back to the hotel. While uncertainty still in there loomed anxiety - over what it would be like, being closed in a small room with a group of people from different countries and whose characteristics might be totally different from yours.
And of course the scenario is quite different from that of the actual housemates, apart from knowing that the period of stay was going to be only 24 hours, media housemates had met on the night of arrival and briefly conversed. The actual housemates meet for the first time inside the house.
