Old Testament Kalanga Bible on way

FRANCISTOWN: With the New Testament (NT) and the Psalms book of the Bible already translated into Kalanga language, the Bible Society of Botswana is busy with the translation of the Old Testament (OT) book of the Bible.

The translated version of the Bible is called Ndebo Mbuya Ne Njimbo/ Good News Gospel and it took the Bible Society of Botswana (BSB) seven years to complete.

Baseki Tema from the BSB stated that translation into Kalanga is complex because they do not translate the Bible from English language, but from the original Hebrew and Greek bibles.
