First Division chair laughs off suspension

First Division North chairperson, Mpenzeni Sambandawe has laughed off the decision by the Botswana Football Association (BFA) to suspend his committee citing financial irregularities.

The BFA decided to suspend the committee during a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting last week Friday.

BFA chief executive officer, Mfolo Mfolo in a letter, said the committee had failed to account for the funds it received and therefore, it is suspended pending disciplinary action.
