Autlwetse dumps BDP

Former Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) National Youth Executive Committee (NYEC) secretary general, Thabo Autlwetse has resigned after recently being slapped with a two-year suspension.

Initially, Autlwetse and five other Young Turks were given a 60-day suspension last year.  The two-year suspension was imposed on them after a disciplinary hearing recently. 

This was after the members were found guilty of “misconduct and bringing the party into disrepute”.
