Long-term plans for Soul Afrique

The Soul Afrique Jazz Concert that was held at the Pavilion recently may have been a flop, but to the organisers it was a worthwhile project. One of the show’s promoters, Shima Monageng of Kgalagadi Jazz Beats, said that they are going to continue with the newly introduced music concept as part of their long-term vision.

“Kgalagadi Jazz Beats is not about making a quick buck.  We have a vision.  We are not looking at the commercial aspect only,” he said as he outlined the vision.

Monageng admitted that the attendance at the show was not as impressive for various reasons, but that they were not worried.
