Man dies in BCL Mine accident

SELEBI-PHIKWE: BCL Mine spokesman, James Molosankwe has said an employee lost his life last Friday in an accident at a mine shaft in Selebi-Phikwe.

Molosankwe said the employee was certified dead upon arrival at a local hospital. “Investigations are still ongoing and at the moment, we have got no idea what could have happened,” he said.

This is the second fatal accident at the mine this year after a man died sometime back, following an explosion that critically injured others.
