Slow start: Nico are finding the going tough early on in the season

Nico United might be on a slump, but assistant coach, Blue Same insists the slide with end soon. With nine games into the season, Majombolo find themselves in unfamiliar position in the standings. For the past three seasons, Nico have had a very good start to the season and never finished outside the top five.

But currently, they are languishing in position 13 following their 2-1 loss to Township Rollers last Saturday.

They have won just once, drawn four times and lost four matches. However, Same is optimistic that Nico’s fortunes will improve soon.
