Gaborone United’s forward, Kelebogile ‘Tybo’ Magaga is amongst the country’s most prolific strikers in the women’s game. She follows in the steps of Thuto Ramafifi, Bame Ngenda and Refilwe Tholakele with her scoring prowess in the local league. Magaga’s scoring form stretches from last season and she has now scored 30 goals in 17 games. Tybo talks to Mmegi Sport Correspondent, KABELO BORANABI about her football journey and future ambitions

Magaga found the net just minutes into GU’s return to the Gaborone City Region Football Association (GCRFA) Division One League in February.

The striker also announced her return to the league as the Reds spent the 2021-2022 season in Division Two. The sight of the speedy striker in the lower league terrorised the goal minders.
