The 10th edition of the TTJET Challenge Cup is set to gallop into Motokwe on Saturday, with organisers positioning the event as more than just a horse race, but a platform for growing Botswana's equestrian industry, promoting tourism while also stimulating rural economic development. Speaking to MmegiSport, TTJET Challenge Cup race director, Tyson Kelebeng, said the annual event has evolved into one of the country's premier horse racing competitions.

He highlighted that the race brings together Botswana's finest horses, jockeys and entrepreneurs under one roof.

"The main objective is to professionalise horse racing while promoting horse tourism," Kelebeng explained.
