Botswana Softball Association’s (BSA) leadership has come under scrutiny following the appointment of national team coaches.

The positions for senior men coaches were not advertised, whilst positions for senior women and Under-23 were advertised. Hence the association has been accused of nepotism after Gomolemo Tshelametsi was appointed senior men's assistant coach.

The assistant coach is related to the BSA secretary general, Same Molete and the technical development officer, Romeo Tshelametsi.
